More than 30 people have been killed in an Israeli airstrike that hit a café near the port in Gaza City, according to the head of the territory’s largest hospital.

Gaza’s civil defence agency said Israeli forces killed at least 51 people on Monday, including 24 at a seafront rest area, as fresh calls grew for
