Danny White talks Tenneessee-adidas deal
Tennessee made things official on Wednesday afternoon, announcing a new massive apparel deal with adidas. The brand will replace Nike starting in August 2026, starting a new contract that will run through 2036. Tennessee was previously with adidas from 1994 through 2014.
White has also spearheaded a budget growth of $100 million off the field, Tennessee Athletics said. In fiscal year 2024, Tennessee Athletics amassed over $230 million in total operating revenue.
Tennessee’s new adidas deal shows the latest weapon in recruiting and underlines how schools are finding more creative ways to get their athletes paid above board.
