Just four years ago, Michelle Agyemang was a 15-year-old ball girl and aspiring striker in Arsenal’s academy. Even two weeks ago, her name was relatively unknown. Now, her heroic performances for England in the women’s Euro 2025 have propelled her to nationwide stardom.

It was while serving as a 15-year-old ball girl during the Lionesses' 4-0 victory over Northern Ireland at Wembley that Agyemang truly realised her dream of joining the England squad. Four years later, an injury to club team-mate Alessia Russo while playing for England U19s provided Agyemang with the opportunity to step up to senior duty.
