Environment Canada (EC) has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for most of Eastern Ontario and parts of Western Quebec, including the Ottawa-Gatineau region.

Thunderstorms are working their way through southeastern Ontario as a heat wave continues to blanket parts of the province.
