Daniil Medvedev, who lost in the first round of the French Open, made another early exit at Wimbledon with a four-set loss to 64th-ranked Benjamin Bonzi.

It was just Bonzi's second win against top-10 opposition, following his win over Casper Ruud en route to the Moselle Open title last year.

Daniil Medvedev suggests nothing major changed in his game compared to previous years but it is only the lack of confidence that is to blame for some of his surprising results. After picking up a shock Australian Open second-round loss to Learner Tien, the Russian was also bounced by Cameron Norrie in the French Open first round.
