SOUTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, FLA. (WSVN) - A python hunter in the Everglades has made a record-setting catch, snagging a 17-foot, 5-inch python in Miami-Dade County on Monday night.
Officials say a Florida trapper has captured a record-setting python as part of a program to remove the invasive species from the Everglades.
The winner of the $10,000 ultimate grand prize this year was Taylor Stanberry, who removed a whopping 60 pythons.
