A new app for Xbox One will allow Roblox users to share and profit from the games they've created using Roblox on PC.

The Windows 10 store Roblox app comes in the wake of the Xbox One version, which has enabled the game to reach a new segment of the $99.6 billion gaming industry.

The new Xbox One app will allow Roblox content creators to release their games on multiple platforms simultaneously without having to worry about porting the code to each new system.

Speaking with GamesIndustry.biz recently, Roblox CMO Rick Silvestrini said the company would launch a Roblox app on Xbox One November 12.

Roblox is a game creation platform on PC, Mac, iOS and Android with 7 million players a month. Next month it comes to Xbox One to take on the likes of Disney Infinity and Project Spark.

A major feature is coming to Roblox on consoles in 2025, and it promises to change the overall gameplay experience for PlayStation and Xbox players.

Roblox is live on Xbox One. Players can download it for free and start playing a list of 15 player-created games chosen by the Roblox staff. These cover a number of genres, such as action and shooter.

About 20 Roblox games will be available initially, with a tentative release date of Dec. 3, and more will be added next year. Roblox will appear as an app in the Xbox One Store.
