Thanks to a new agreement between Microsoft and Dropbox, mobile users can now edit documents stored on Dropbox through one of Microsoft's mobile apps.

Open your Dropbox folder (found, by default, in your user folder), and create a folder for your important files (Important Files, seems like an appropriate name).

All other files, like PDFs, spreadsheets, etc. — will be shared as a link to the Dropbox file. Tapping Open will take the recipient to their Dropbox mobile app to preview and save the shared file.
