To use Computer Management, you should know how to open it on a Windows 11/10 PC. Interestingly, there are multiple ways to open the tool.

The “Computer Management” window will open. In the left pane, click Disk Management (under Storage). In Windows 8, right-click the Windows button, and select Disk Management.

There are many ways to open Disk Management. The easiest is to right-click the Start button and select Disk Management from the menu.

The Disk Management snap-in in Computer Management displays available storage devices connected to the PC. Using this you can initialize, format or partition hard disks, among other tasks.

Type diskmgmt.msc in the Search bar to open Disk Management, right click the Windows volume, and click Expand.
