In autonomous or driverless mode, the truck’s Autonomous Drive Controller sends instructions to the Allison Transmission Control Module, vehicle brake and other control systems.

Dave installs the Allison transmission-control module in the engine compartment, next to the brake booster, and feeds its wiring harness down into the transmission tunnel.
