The Boston Red Sox need catchers. In a new trade proposal, they could obtain a top backstop prospect for the odd man out in their outfield.

The Rafael Devers trade might have rankled some Red Sox fans, but one MLB insider gave Boston an "A+" for dealing him.

The Red Sox acquired pitchers Jordan Hicks and Kyle Harrison as well as prospects James Tibbs III and Jose Bello. Baseball America ranked Tibbs as the Giants’ No. 3 prospect and is a power-hitting outfielder. The Giants also took on the entirety of Devers’ contract, which has eight years and $250 million remaining.
