Originally released in Minecraft: Bedrock Edition 1.16.100.52 beta, the /ride command is finally coming to Java Edition in update 1.19.4.

Exclusive to Minecraft's Education and Bedrock Editions, NPCs are mobs that are invulnerable and lack AI but who can still interact with players.

Players interested in automating their commands in Minecraft will have to use Command Blocks, but they’ll need to update their settings to add them into the game.
