Company executives say the sportwear giant will cut its reliance on producing goods in China to ease the impact of US trade policies.

Nike is taking action to combat a $1 billion cost increase from tariffs, including “a surgical price increase” in the U.S. starting this fall.

With tariffs leading to price hikes, Nike plans to shift production and reduce its reliance on Chinese manufacturing by the end of its fiscal year 2026.
