The 2025 US Open Tennis Championships is live from Queens, New York, as the top players from the men's and women's divisions compete for a Grand Slam title.

The list of highest-paid tennis players in 2025 has officially been unveiled with multiple recognizable names at the top.

It felt like tennis had delivered the perfect script—world No. 1 Jannik Sinner versus world No. 2 Carlos Alcaraz in a Masters 1000 final. Both had torn through the draw in Cincinnati, barely breaking a sweat, setting up the dream clash fans had been waiting for.

For two decades, men’s tennis was defined by the Big Three of Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal, who won a combined 66 out of 81 Grand Slam events between 2003 and 2023. Men’s tennis has entered a new era: the Big Two.

Afterward, Sinner didn't have a traditional press conference. Instead, he was asked a couple of questions by the ATP media and provided answers. One of the things asked was if there was anything specific he wanted to work on going into the US Open.

He spent the 2024 season squarely focused on Sinner and Alcaraz, in which they split the four majors and accelerated their ascension into a tennis stratosphere of their own creation.

The No. 1-ranked Sinner, the defending champion in singles at Flushing Meadows, was supposed to compete in mixed doubles with Katerina Siniakova.
