Netflix has secured the streaming rights to Orphan Black, bringing Tatiana Maslany’s Emmy-winning, chameleon-like performance to its library for the first time in the US.

This sci-fi show is a masterpiece in storytelling and acting, and it being a TV series gave the writers time to tell the story and end it well.

Orphan Black: Echoes recently aired its season finale. The thriller drama series picks up from the events of the original Orphan Black, created by John Fawcett and Graeme Manson.

Cloning is a pretty good metaphor for one of the key methods employed to populate TV these days, but “Orphan Black: Echoes” at least tries to distinguish itself from its predecessor.

Orphan Black: Echoes is a brand-new story in the Orphan Black universe, so while it will be easier to understand the universe, the new show has been constructed as an entry point for new viewers.
