The Celtics wrapped up the 2025 NBA Draft by selecting Max Shulga with the No. 57 overall pick. The C’s traded down earlier in the draft, which is how they ended up with one of the final picks in the second round.

The Boston Celtics have selected Max Shulga with the No. 57 pick in the 2025 NBA draft. The Ukrainian guard spent five seasons in college, finishing out his career with VCU, where he averaged 14.5 points and shot 40.2 percent from deep across two seasons.

The Celtics end up with greater flexibility with those picks as sweeteners, or can take them to continue adding cheap talent to the team.
